Advice needed

Hi.

So I woke up with a red bruise like Mark under my left eye this morning, no pain or loss of vision.

I went to my GP and he did my blood pressure, temp and pulse and all seems normal.

I have had 2 flare ups of Urticarial vasculitis but haven't had one for nearly a year. Saw my dermatologist on Tuesday and she signed my off as I'm am not suffering at all and on no meds related to vasculitis.

Should I be worried or not?

It looks like a purpurea you must see a vasculitis specialist. Call the helpline for advice.

It has now gone! No marks elsewhere and fell good.

Hi Amy- I am diagnosed with Churg Strauss (EGPA) . Have been doing really well- then woke up with swelling under eye, gradual onset of mouth ulcers. Consultant rang me to say ANCA level had more than doubled and that I was on the verge of a flare. Told him I was fine but then got v poorly last week.

I have no idea why!? Now back on pred after 2 years.

Anyone have any ideas??

I agree that you should see a vasculitis specialist.

It has now gone.... No marks anywhere ae and feel fine..

That’s great! Same thing happened with my eye- just went. Got sick about 3 wks later.

OK will bear that in mind
