I am so sorry to hear you have been so poorly for such a long time. The positive anca test doesn't confirm vasculitis, but it would seem whoever ordered it suspected you may have it. Probably you should check with them and ask for further investigations. AmyS1 is right though you should phone the helpline and they can go into much more detail and give you advice according to where you live etc. You must do something though as you have been ill for so long.
Good luck - we all know it is difficult to be pushy when you feel so ill.
I agree with 'Everyone', on your question, you DO need to talk to Someone more Medically Minded, than we are. Yes we DO have a, very great, 'Collective Knowledge' and yes we can advise on a number of 'Things'. However actual Diagnosis should be, carried out, by a Professional. You don't say were you live but can you get a Referral to Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge. Dr David Jane is based there and he is, without doubt, the man you need to see. Dr Jane is also an Adviser to our 'Sister' organisation, Health Unlocked, please do look at the website. Have you got a 'Friendly' GP, or Consultant? If so ask for a referral.
In any case please do let us know, how you Get On, will you JJKane?
In the Mean time I send you our, very best, wishes.

Incidentally, and I know that it's not 'in your nature' but sometimes you have to be Pushy- the Trick is to know when. Good luck, once again.
