Has anyone heard of LDN? Maybe it is just a scam from the internet but it sounds like a miracle cure for a bunch of autoimmune disorders plus cancer and autism

LDN sounds too good to be true
If it sounds too good to be true - it probably is!
Yes, I have heard of it and it is something that crops up on our forum (PMRGCAUK) a lot. I asked Dr Sarah Mackie about it as it is touted for PMR. She said they have looked into it - and find no evidence at all to suggest it is a magic answer to anything. Personally I have a knee jerk reaction to anything that claims to cure everything - and assume it probably doesn't do anything at all.
I suppose it is possibly worth trying - it is safe enough and used in opiate addiction - but whether it will DO anything is another question.

Looks like a cure-all, now touted for Fibromylagia.
I am not saying it does not work, but it is licensed in the UK for MS only as far as I am aware and I don't know if it works or not.
I have had two doctors want me to take it. My pharmacist swears by it. I’m going to try it.
