I am hoping to enter into a contract in France on a property. I suffer from MPA. I cannot enter into the contract if MPA is regarded as a "life limiting" disease. How can I tell whether MPA is regarded as "life limiting"? I cannot tell from various articles how the prognosis is classed. How can I tell how the disease is classified?

Prognosis MPA
I think you need to ask your consultant about this. It may depend on your specific case, not just the disease itself. Good luck!
I live in france with Churg Strauss and have never been asked a question like this when buying property...I imagine it is a mortgage company that is asking you this not the notaire..and whether you can keep up the payments, otherwise it should be irellevant!
it took me two years to get my illness defined as "chronic" here but it has never been called "life limiting"
The health service here is superb, by the way
Good luck
I am sure that your presumption is correct that MPA is a chronic illness rather than a life limiting disease. Such a distinction would not be made by a medical organisation but it seems you are dealing with an insurance company and actuaries have their own classifications.
