As many of you will know VUK funds research projects. Dr Fiona Pearce from Nottingham recently completed a VUK funded research grant and this is her very interesting final report on her findings that she has prepared for VUK. If you were at the recent Patient symposium in Manchester you will have heard her excellent presentation.

The research grant process is rigorous with each application being peer reviewed by 3 academics. Dr Pearce has been awarded a ARUK PHD scholarship so she can research this further.
