Urticarial vasculitis

Hi everyone, i am diagnose with urticarial vasculitis just last month, am i alone, it's frightening, i'm just so worried. My doctor wants to start me on Azathioprine tablets.....should i get a second opinion?

Hi, i am also diagnosed with uv. I tried aza but it didnt work for me.. its not the worst drug in the world.

My first symptom of Behcets was urticaria vasculitis and delayed pressure vasculitis. Both are no longer problematic since being on Methotrexate and remicaide for my other behcets symptoms. It's worth trying Azathioprine and see if it works. It's pretty low risk.

I was diagnosed with urticarial vasculitis almost 3 years ago. I was put on prednisone and plaquenil and that seemed to stop the cycle I still take the plaquenil and try and control it by diet and lifestyle.
