I have never claimed PIP but, i do know someone who does.

The best way to deal with this is to take someone with you and get them to take notes of the full interview.

Don't tell them you can do things that you know you cant.

Have you had a letter from your Doctor outlining all the problems you have, if not, get one it will cost about £40 but well worth it.

They may also make you walk a good distance to the interview room make sure you stop and rest along the way and also ask the person doing the tribunal what they know about your illness.

Good luck i hope you win the appeal.

Hi SandieB, the best advice I can suggest is to check out the site benefitsandwork.co.uk Many people share their experiences on the forum. You can also subscribe to take advantage of their guides but that is optional. As Greenkit said do not go into the tribunal alone. Quite a percentage of decisions are overturned on appeal according to information I have read. But do your homework, preparation is always the key. Good luck.
