It is National Volunteers week this week 1st June - 7th June.

On behalf of Vasculitis UK I would like to thank all of those who have helped make the charity so successful and effective. VUK is run entirely by unpaid volunteers and the income comes entirely from voluntary donations and fundraising. So, thanks to those who give up their time to run the charity, especially behind the scenes, write the newsletter, update the website and man the telephone and internet advice services as well as looking after the FB, HealthUnlocked and Twitter groups.

We know that for so many people this personal support is invaluable, especially those who are newly diagnosed with Vasculitis.

None of this would be possible without the enthusiasm and support of those many fundraisers and members.

We would also like to thank the doctors who work with us behind the scenes, in partnership with a common goal of better care for Vasculitis patients.
