A new UK strategy to help improve the diagnosis, research and treatment of rare diseases is expected to be launched by the Government today.
It is estimated that around 3.5 million people in the UK will be affected by a rare disease at some point in their lives.

About time too- carry on, at this rate, and maybe some of these diseases may not be too 'rare' any more! Watch this space, so to speak!
I confess that I haven't read all the 'links' referred to here- the usual excuse, I'm afraid, too much else to do! I will try to keep 'up to date', as far as I can, promise!
