Hi Alan-lee,

Yes! I saw it. WOW. Poor guy! The pain that lad goes through..... I felt like weeping for him. It was very humbling. It was also fantastic to have Vasculitis showcased this way. Maybe now people will appreciate what some of us go through.

What an inspiration he is though! If ever I feel down again, about my condition, I will think back to Lee and be reminded of his fortitude and pragmatic approach, not to mention his stellar sense of humour.

Also, how fortunate is he to have found a gem of a fiancé like Megan?! They clearly love each other deeply and I think they will both gain much from their relationship together. If they can get through what they have to contend with, their marriage will be made from titanium!

You can't help but wish them all the luck in the world. :-)

we watched it too. The programme highlighted Behcet's Disease as one of the most difficult types of Vasculitis to treat. There are celebrities who actually suffer from Behcets Disease maybe they should be encouraged to help raise the profile of this awful disease. This programme is being discussed in the HealthUnlocked Bechets Syndrome Society Community. The replies and responses to the programme make interesting reading.

Hi, my husband and I also watched it, and we found it very emotional. I have MPA, and suffer with nerve pain in my feet and face, and at time it really gets bad but after watching the programme I feel there is nothing wrong with me. Megan his girl friend must be an angel.

I thought it highlighted it well.

I didn't know much about behcet's before,

he's on a lot of strong med's.

I was concerned about him passing out - was that just the relief from the gas and air?

so glad eveyone found it as inspirational as me and the wife did..

I would not be here if it wasn't for my wife too..We have found that keeping a sense of humour

gets us through.

I wish all the best to Lee for the future, and thank him for showing such a personal account which has helped others vasculitis patients.

Was a very emotional programme. Watching Lee really brought it home the pain and suffering of this horrible silent killer disease. Good luck to him and Megan xx
