Pardon my ignorance folks, but what does HSP stand for? We get no news here at all and we don't have sky tv at our house.
Henoch Schönlein Purpura
What is Henoch-Schönlein Purpura?
Henoch-Schönlein Purpura (HSP) is a systemic vasculitis which can affect the skin, joints, bowel and kidneys. If it affects the kidneys it is usually called Henoch-Schönlein Nephritis or Vasculitic IgA Nephropathy.
HSP mostly affects children, but can affect adults.
There is another organization that is a charity that advertises themselves as hsp. It is something totally different and includes the word parapalactic something or other, they are based down south. I wrote to them but didnt have any reply they advertise on one of the fundraising sites and have got alot of money coming in. I think somepeople might get confused. ours is definately classified as a auto immune rare blood disease
Another question from an Aussie. My daughter has had systemic Vasculitis for 5 years. There has been no "remission" just a steady increase of symptoms. Is that usual?
can I suggest you post this as a question so that more will see it and answer.
