Adaport and Hair Issues.

Hi I am 3 months post simultaneous kidney and pancreas transplant. I started taking Prograf but was then changed to Adaport. Since then my hair has became like a sponge and I had to get it cut off. Once cut it has become very curly and is non receptive to dye. Has anyone else had these issues my consultant said he had never heard of it happening.

did the donor have curly hair some say you inherit trates from donor..iv had transplant and am now left and right handed...strange things have been documented...take care...

I have noticed my hair thinning on Adoport, but when your on dialysis it tends to do that as well. I have never heard of symptoms like your having however any medication reacts differently depending on the individual. Please let me know how your getting in with it now sorry just a nosey bugger at heart 😁

My husband is on Adoport after I donated a kidney to him. He has got a lot hairier (all over!)
