No TV and no internet make Lucy go crazy...

Well it will eventually. From tomorrow I no longer have internet (no wi-fi connection in the house) and because I have no money, I can't afford a TV license so I will also not have TV... unless I watch it downstairs with the others. I will still be able to access the internet occasionally in the local library and on various wifi hotspots but I will not have full access as I do now because I will be using the net book. Has anyone ever seen a netbook? It is so hard to browse on those things!

With all the anxiety of moving, my tics are going a bit bonkers. That and I drank too much pepsi yesterday. I will not do that again in a hurry. I have found a temporary solution for the hair pulling as I heard knitting was good. I can't really knit but I have taken up 'finger knitting'. You can't really make anything other than chains but it stops my hands drifting to my hair. When I have moved I might even re-attempt to knit the scarf I was making for my Mum. I will just not cast on nearly 100 stitches this time...

So anyway, adieu for now, I shall be back somehow as you can't keep me off the internet for over a week!

I lucked out with my netbook...borrowed some money from family and bought an Alienware gaming jobbie...it's so powerful but I am *so* paranoid that I'm going to accidentally launch it across the room. My poor bass guitar has had that treatment a few times >_<

I don't know if it's any help, but me and my other half can't afford a phoneline so we use this deal from TMobile. You buy the dongle for 30 quid and it comes with 3 months of internet use. It usually works out cheaper just to buy another one, but you can top it up at the end as well if you want! If you look on their website under mobile broadband its there like...halfway down the list! :)
