I’m four months into this nightmare of T and sleep is still rare, I use sounds on my phone beside my bed but am still distracted by the sounds in my ears so I’m wondering if the snooze band would help. I’m looking at buying the one for side sleepers in particular, NOT the one that also acts as a mask. I’d really appreciate fellow sufferers reviews of the Snooze Head Band please. Also, does it link to any app on your phone?

Have to admit I've never considered anything like Snooze Band. But all their ads say they are bluetooth, so most modern mobile phones should be ok if you set the phone as a personal hotspot and charge it overnight. I just installed spotify on my phone free of harge, and it has tinnitus relief sounds which I'm listening to right now. Wishing you the best for reducing your T.
Pete.
Sorry, I didn't mention that the sounds I'm hearing from Spotify are playing back via my new Signia Stretta hearing aids.
Hi. I just one and it connects by bluetooth, so will work with any app. They're are many on eBay, for example, and although branded differently they all appear to be the same.
Hello, I have a snoozeband which I use to play the calm app and it helps me go to sleep. I play it lower then the hissing so eventually it all just blends into one. Hope this helps.
Hello, I have a Snoozeband which I find very useful during particularly bad nights (otherwise fan noise is enough). It's easy to use, uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone and works with all the usual apps.
I listen to some meditation stuff on Calm app, and when it's really bad I listen to a 10 hour white noise playlist on Spotify.
The only drawback I find is it's not noise cancelling.
it links to all the apps on your phone, through Bluetooth. It loads onto your Bluetooth. So once you turn on your headband and check that that Bluetooth is connected, you’re good to go. It works quite quite well, but not well enough for me, an insomniac. I listen to my sound app on it, which helped when my T was a 10. It tended to slip off a little my head so that speakers moved with it, but when I put a regular head, bound around the top and held it in it worked much better for me. It has high reviews on Amazon, it’s not expensive. It’s definitely worth a shot, it comes with a little instruction bookand recommends not to overcharge more than three hours at a time.
I also use a little sound machine called Ideal sleep, better for your sleep. Amazon. It has 30 little tracks on it and very very simple to use on off backwards forward volume, and I like that a lot I use about two or three sounds on it, depending on the volume of my T. In fact, I bought a second one and I let it run in my kitchen, which really helps me habituate i.e. not listen to my T. I believe I will eventually surely habituate, it will take many months I know, but the name of the game is to ignore the T and that’s what I’m doing, and I think I’m doing better.
Can't help you with head bands but to mask the tinnitus I find string quartet and the like does the job for me. Classic FM and BBC Radio 3 at bed time recommended. The sound frequencies are similar I believe.
