Has anyone found pulsatile tinnitus to be more alarming than 'regular' tinnitus? I mostly have pulsatile tinnitus which just sometimes for an hour or two stops pounding and then it's the same type of frequency and intensity just without the pounding. Pulsatile tinnitus really freaks me out (and makes it very hard to focus on work).

I can not help you because it is the only tinnitus I ever had. The only positive to pulsatile tinnitus is that I know that I am still alive! It beats with my heartbeat. I have this for over 20 years, constant. My biggest wish is to go on a lost island alone without tinintus. SILENCE oh I miss it.
