I have suffered for years to a point now I cannot sleep or tolerate this condition.Music helps but it is a mask.
Have anyone tried a Chinese formula called 'Er Long Ci Pill'.It is reported to used to treat tinnitus and deafness.Has anybody experienced this ?Also TCM states that 'Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan' is also used to support kidneys as there is a correlation between ear ringing and a healthy kidney ?

Sorry to read you are struggling to manage your Tinnitus.
Acceptance that I had Tinnitus, there wasn’t a cure and I would never find the cause was a huge moment for me in my recovery.
Living well with Tinnitus required me to close the chapter on finding a cure and reason and instead focus on what relaxes me and helps reduce my anxiety.
You CAN live well with Tinnitus. My advice to anyone is to live your life regardless of Tinnitus… easier said than done I remember.
Your body/brain is amazing. Keep trying new ways to relax them, engage them and you can find peace
Hello, I have had it for years as well. I listen to classical music all day to help me ignore it. Mostly, I have learned to live with it.
When I had a hearing test some years ago I recall having to concentrate to listen to higher frequencies. For about 2 weeks after that test I had more difficulty ignoring it.
I just watched this TedX speaker on tinnitus. He says that they believe tinnitus may be very similar to how the brain creates phantom limbs – in the case of sound, it is filling in the gaps in frequencies that our damaged ears can no longer produce.
He also talks about how stress might be a contributing factor for some. I thought it was worth watching & wanted to share it here: Tinnitus: Ringing in the Brain | Josef Rauscheckeryoutube.com/watch?app=deskt...
Umm, a quick look at Amazon reviews appears to show the jury's out in terms of efficacy but hey! severe T is severe T - I'll try anything.
My reservations are centered around not if it works or not but what's in it. Buying this sort of stuff direct from China is like Russian roulette. I'd want to see some standards and testing applied to at least know that whether it makes T quieter or not it isn't doing something else rather nasty to me at the same time.
Oh well, we all have to do our own research . . .
Notreve above is 100% right as well. You CAN live with Tinnitus - you can and you shall.
Retired when tinnitus came to me, I was able to do online research on Chinese Traditional last year. The problem is nailing down exactly what's in it. They more than likely come in at difficult to impossible on that. I need a bit more than 'its a herb' and this one from the ten minutes I've given it is not an exception. The only one of the many out there, in that field, of any worth is Ginkgo, and much has been written there, and I'm glad I went with it.
My pleasure. In full the sentiment should read 'its a herb you haven't heard of, and will probably never hear of again after you stop researching this pill'
