I was diagnosed with this in August following an infection and issues from April 2024. My GP referred me to ENT in August and I'm still waiting for an appointment currently. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant which I wasn't aware of when the referral was done. I am suffering from terrible headaches which could also me pregnancy related. Just looking for advice on whether I should go back to my GP? as symptoms are worsening and also because I'm pregnant. I am super worried it is being caused by something more serious. Also anyone else suffering with pulsatile tinnitus and can spread some light on what caused yours etc? It's so debilitating and I'm only 28 years old. Any advice appreciated x

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
tinnitus is very very common. Pulsatile tinnitus less so, but still many many people have it.
During pregnancy many changes go on in your body and the pulsatile sanesation could very well be related to this.
Please go to the website of Tinnitus UK and read up about tinnitus and pulsatile tinnitus, and maybe give their helpline a ring.
I would have a chat with tinnitus UK and email your doctor again explaining how you are having problems with your Y and could they expedite your appointment.
