Two things :-
Has anyone used bimodal neuromodulation?
For someone using ear masking, if you only have tinnitus in one ear should you just use one masker or one on each ear?

Hi there ! I have right side tinnitus for close to 2 years now . I was prescribed one hearing aide with masker for that ear . Works well . Recently on my last trip into the city I developed hyperacussi in my " good ear" no tinnitus tho whew . Anyways made it miserable to deal with the excessive incoming noise . Subsequently I was fitted with another hearing aide in my " good ear" this hearing aide does not have the masker program activated but it did help me to deal much better with the increased noise coming at me from all directions . Without it I'm pretty sure I would have left the big city and hightailed it back home where it's super quiet . Interestingly the audiologist said im losing quite a bit of hearing in my good ear which is part of the hyperacussis that I am now dealing with. How unfortunate. Anyways maybe not any good info for you here Good luck
Stay well & hang in there

I use one masker . A radio talk program on low volume. I can ignore it and listen / talk in conversation quite easily with the good ear. It works for me.
