Lightweight headphones for hyperacusis 🎧

Hi. I have Hyperacusis. I've been trying to find some lightweight over ear headphones just to damp down noise when travelling or in cinema. I've tried in-ear types but these don't work for me... I need to cover my ears. I don't need to play music and don't need/want noise cancelling I just want to cover my ears with headphones. At the moment I'm just using my old hi fi headphones.

I looked into industrial types but they are all bright yellow and block out too much noise.

If anyone has a similar problem or knows about headphones please let me know what you use/suggest.

Thank you very much πŸ™‚

It would be wonderful if they were white/nice colour and would fold up small but not essential.

Hi, I also have Hyperacusis and can’t wear the in ear buds, so I wear over head ones which are very soft, light and comfortable, they also fold, they are called Gorsun and come in lots of different colours, I have pastel blue but lots more to choose from, just google search it, they don’t block everything out but for me I Just need something to take the edge off if I’m having a bad day and am out and about.

Hope this helps.

πŸ™‚ I just bought some and some Roxel RX110 Lightweight ones (to test both) so I can let you know how the Roxel's are too when I get them. Thanks again.

It’s a good idea to test a couple of different ones, just looked them up online line and they look really good, light weight and foldable, also wireless where as mine have a cable, I might get some but it would be lovely if you could let me know, mine are ok at the moment but I will get a second pair,

Thank you πŸ™‚

Good morning πŸ™‚. I tried out the headphones and both were very lightweight (the Roxel even lighter) and the design was reasonable for the price. They were both too small for me though(squeezed my head) so unfortunately I had to return them but it was a really good exercise as now I feel happier that my old headphones are as good as anything I could get (just a bit old).

Thanks ever so much for helping me. Have a great week. πŸ™‚
