sun, I know you’ve been posting for a while here. But I don’t think a tinnitus forum might be able to help with the symptoms you describe.

Sun, I have a tingling scalp from time to time. Not had the feet though.

This week I went to a Physio that specialises in TMJ just to see whether this had any bearing on my T.

acptmd.co.uk/

Unfortunately/fortunately no TMJ issues were detected albeit I am pleased I can now discount this. In some respects it is just a question of investigating methodically the many things that can cause T so as to rule things out.

After Physio visit I am now suspecting that back issues may be causing my T as 40 years in front of a PC with a right hand mouse has caused muscle weakness / slouching all done my right side. My right shoulder is now considerably lower than my left. I now have a series of exercises and am looking for a Pilates class to strengthen my core so as to regain a more asymmetric posture.

So many things can be affected by a bad back. The tingling you suffer may be related to back issues with spine out of alignment possibly like me. This can all lead up into the neck ear area. Good luck.

Hi Mick

you mention pilates for your back, I used to do Pilates twice a week which did strengthen my core and helped with a pre-existing back complaint also from slouching at work, it also relaxed me which helped with my T. But be mindful of the movements of your head as I found this made me really dizzy during the class, I really enjoyed the classes but couldn't cope with the dizziness, although I did find taking my time between movements did help a bit. Sorry to put a negative spin on it but I expect it dont happen to everyone, Good luck and hopefully you won't get the same feeling.

Hi Sun I have all the symptoms that you describe and I find it harder to deal with than the sounds of tinnitus.

I have seen a neurologist for the tingling in my feet and legs and have been told I have peripheral neuropathy, caused from back problems.

i know my tingling symptoms are getting worse and have wondered myself if the strange feelings in my head are due to neuropathy, also deaf in one ear.

i wish you all the best x
