Hi Mathew, I'm a little unclear on what you're asking here. Is it your experience that your hearing test doesn't show a decline but the quality of what you are hearing is not normal?

Hearing test show normal but t must let the sound a bit different with the t sound

I wonder if t will finally get hearing loss

Hear fine in real world , just in earbud especially hearing test would hear strange coz of t , so just wonder when t is loud enough to impede sounds or make quality worse doesnt mean hearing loss is there right

And when t sound intensity change from left to right, in that cases wouldnt be probably be ear issue right

Anyway gp refered me to ent, maybe it takes some weeks , fortunately cbt is coming soon

I see what you're asking now .. Does T make you deaf even if you don't have any hearing loss? I don't think so. Not from my experience anyway. I have one deaf ear with T and one good ear with T . I can't hear the beeps in my deaf ear but I can in my good ear . I think T can distract you. That's the problem.

Nono not deaf i mean this is contradictory with normal hearing test, but actually it would cover or at least compromise the real sound somehwat

My last test indicated my hearing was normal for my age. However I had aids to boost higher frequencies to help hear voices over the tinnitus.

Realised that there were sounds I missed - the car seat belt alarm was much more annoying than I thought.

The test is subjective in that it is hard to hear the beeps because the tinnitus is louder.

Is hearing loss usually on both earsSo just because tinnitus is so loud to compromise the sound doesnt mean it must be hearing lossnnit
