I don’t think we on this forum should be advising you on the make of over-the-counter medicines.

Go to your pharmacist and ask for advice.

I’ve taken floradix liquid. It reads very good. Not sure if it helped me though.

It's not clear why you are asking about vitamins. Speak to your GP. It sound like you need something to help with your anxiety.

You should be getting your nutrition through a normal balanced healthy diet. Vitamins supplements are exactly what it says on the tin/box, to boost any deficiencies.

All the best.

You shouldn't really you multi vitamins, you could be getting too much of some that you don't need which can be dangerous and still be too low of others. Best thing to do is get your vitamins checked and then dose accordingly. You can test vitamins online. Over dosing on Iron especially can be dangerous.

Hi there sun_1234 It's not unusual to lose weight with T . I lost a stone in the early days because I was too upset to eat very much. I've put it back on now. I buy my vits & mins from Higher Nature. They're good quality and not too expensive. If you email them with a specific problem they'll come back to you with idea s of what to take. I take Vitamin C & D in autumn and winter . That's more for general health than anything. I've also taken 5HTP for sleep and L-Theanine for anxiety.

Hello - I too lost over a stone in weight when my musical tinnitus first started. I have had it for 2 years now and have come more to terms with what has happened and my appetite is back to normal. As others have said, try and eat a balanced diet rather than take supplements as there is no proof that any will help with the tinnitus. It is so hard to get used to but keep telling yourself you won’t let it rule your life. Good luck x

Sorry to hear the tinnitus has caused you such anxiety that it has zapped your appetite. This happened to me at first too and it’s very distressing. The good news is, it does come back. You won’t be in flight/fright mode forever. Go for easy to digest nutrition rich food at first - homemade soups and fresh bread are great. I also suffered with dizziness and nausea so found ginger biscuits and fizzy water helped. Take care and hope you feel better soon.

I have dizziness.

Is it light-headed dizziness from lack of food or vertigo, which is a different feeling altogether?

yes I have vertigo when start tinnitus and hearing lost. I lost my balance that time. Now sometimes attack me vertigo so I have to take medicine, but most of the time is light headed dizziness. I don’t know is because of food or something else.

I would ask your doctor to refer you to an ENT/audio-vestibular consultant so you can get a proper diagnosis and help. You could have a vestibular disorder. Mine is vestibular migraine and I have high frequency hearing loss in my left ear which they think is the cause of the tinnitus. Really important to get lots of tests done and get the help you need.

Yes, please ask your GP to refer you to your NHS Nutritionalist, they can prescribe great supplements that suit your needs on the NHS.My Brither last 4 stones after Sepsis, he is now steadily gaining weight under their management and has a supplement regime supplied free of charge, the products are far superior to those on the open market.

Well, unless you eating a lot less because of your anxiety maybe a referral to a dietician would help…..if you are under nourished that could make you feel anxious.

So do speak to your practice nurse…she will be able to advise on your blood results too.

I'm not sure this is something to try to fix by yourself. That's a big weight loss and it seems as though you need more than vitamins. I would speak to your doctor who would hopefully refer you to a nutritionist and/or therapist.
