Vik Veer - ENT Surgeon

Some of you might have come across the youtuber Vik Veer (the name of his channel is in the topic). He is an NHS Consultant surgeon. He does not specialise in T, but makes excellent videos on a variety of ENT topics.

He happens to have suffered from T some years ago, and in his recent video "How I Cured My Tinnitus" he gives a clear explanation of the mechanism of T, how he suffered from it and how (by self-help - no medication or miracle cures), he got rid of it.

He deals with the entire T experience, and considers the various types of treatment available.

Old hands know most or all of this, and may not benefit much or at all from his words, but for a new patient he offers a calm, expert, helpful, hopeful introduction.

Highly recommended.

Just watched it, very interesting for people who don’t know about the general nature of T and some very useful advice and tips. I think it would definitely be beneficial to newbies who haven’t got a clue what’s going on when their T first starts.

yeh , I found by chance his video about removing ear wax on you tube , very informative - I shall have to watch the one u mention about tinnitus

I really like this video and he presents it really well but, for me, how he gone rid of tinnitus isn’t that clear in the video. Perhaps it went away as it arrived?

Agreed. T is so very subjective. What I take from the video is that he came to T (which seems to have been very mild at onset), with a clear understanding of its nature, very little anxiety, and a great deal of self-confidence. I suppose that those go with his profession and seniority in it. Inspiring though - particularly for those who find the video when their own T is at an early and mild stage.
