Do you talk to yourself and if so, what do you say?

β€’13 Replies

Out of interest...

I say 'right get moving' all the time if I've been sitting about too long.

I always announce 'tea' to myself before I make it!

And 'what's happening now?' if I'm annoyed at something. Plus I regularly ask my cat 'what do you see?' 😍

These are all the printable things 😊

Have a great day all 🌸

Hahaha Fuzzy! I take it the only person present is your cat? And what does she say in return? As for me, I don’t think I do this when I’m on my own - but I’m not sure??? I do when my husbands there and it’s nothing to do with him (like, β€œI’ll stand up now and have a walk around”). This interrupting whatever he’s doing and annoying him.. so he does it back ……..

Ha ha the cat just looks at me, blankly 🐾 😊Oh I do that too with my husband. I'll say I'm going upstairs as if it is far away or something πŸ˜„

I have an exterior monologue, too, Fuzzy - it helps me organize my thoughts (or at least, that's what I tell myself).

The dogs look at me blankly during my 'right, let's go for a walk' moments - I suspect they're wondering how to apply to go and live with Paul O'Grady...πŸ˜„

πŸ˜„ πŸ• that's funny 🐾 Yes I reckon it's a sign of genius πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

I’m always telling my poodles how much I love them and kiss and cuddle them . My elderly cat does not get much of a look in …. I have now started to try to make friends with my T. β€œ oh well I say to the T if your here to stay then so be it, but be good to me β€œ.
