Tinitus temporary or parmanent
The website of British tinnitus Association has some helpful information about this I think, worth looking into.
Hi Quif. There's always hope - whether it stays or goes. Invest in some earplugs form the BTA shop before you go to another concert. Just to be on the safe side.
I do hope it gets better for you soon. However , it all depends how loud that concert really was and if it’s done any damage . I’m sure your be ok 😊
Hi Quif
I think you'll get some reassurance if you visit our Plug 'Em website - it's got a lot of information about protecting your hearing and about the effects of high levels of noise on our ears.
Prolonged exposure to high levels of volume is probably why I have a delightful ringing sound in my ears, but a one-off exposure hopefully won't be enough to have done serious damage. Tinnitus is often more noticeable in quieter spaces and can seem louder if you are anxious about it. Trying to avoid both of those things is a really good idea.
Take care,
Pat
Yes, there is a chance. But go to great lengths to protect your ears as from now, especially at any live venues, concerts, clubs etc. I would not wish long term tinnitus on anyone.
Best of luck.
