Hello. There are several clinics . I've been to the Bristol one in December - after 15 years of tinnitus. I got to the stage last summer / autumn where I couldn't eat or sleep so my family clubbed together and sent me. I'm 4 weeks into treatment. I can eat and sleep better. They took my medical history and ran a series of tests. I've been given a combination device for unilateral tinnitus. Part hearing aid; part tinnitus therapy. It's very easy to use. It takes 12 - 24 weeks to work. I feel calmer and more able to cope with tinnitus although I do have moments of panic still. I would say go if you have the chance. The sooner the better. It's harder to dislodge the tinnitus precept the longer you've had it. They don't aim to cure you but they have a good success rate of bringing tinnitus down from higher to lower levels.

Good morning.Do you know if the clinic at Harley street do any online sessions. Is it very expensive? Is it worth paying for help?

It's difficult to recommend specific providers, as seeking treatment is a very personal thing - it's always important to research the clinic or doctor you are seeing and get a sense of whether their messaging and appearance seem supportive and offering the type of care you are willing to pay for.

The Tinnitus Clinic are established in the audiology and ENT sector and offer a variety of treatments, including online support.

We can't recommend individual clinics but we can direct you towards a list of our corporate members - each of whom has demonstrated a commitment to supporting people with tinnitus over a period of years.

Thank you , it does rather seem as if this horrible condition is a bit of a closed shop. Nobody seems to be making very much progress . It’s just keep plodding on , I’m very unsteady too because my head is full of pressure .

Hi Rabbits65

I believe the cost is in the thousands and the site only shows the people who say that the therapy has worked for them, I would like to hear from the hundreds/ thousands? Who have experienced no gain or possibly making things worse.

You’ve got a very good point there catman68 , as we all know that today a lot of people are getting onto the bandwagon of trying to make their money somehow, so they prey onto poor suffering people desperately looking for a thread of hope . Thanks. rabbits65
