Tinitus and estrogen..is there a link?

Tinitus and a oestrogen...is there a link?

So i recently read about women going through menopause and a rise in tinitus linked to the lack of estrogen being produced..

I wonder if there is a link to low estrogen production before menstruation and worsening tinitus?

Any thoughts on this?

I don’t know much about this. I’ve had tinnitus a longtime and think I’m only recently peri menopausal so don’t think it’s connected but you’ve got me wondering if this is why it feels like it’s got worse.

There’s an app called Balance it’s great for all things menopausal and there’s 2 articles on tinnitus you might find useful.
