If you’ve got tinnitus, you’ve got tinnitus.

Having your ears cleared may well improve things because you can hear the real world better.

If you haven’t done so already, read through the British tinnitus Associations website for hints and tips.

Personally, I know the T is there but I do my best to ignore it. There it is, but I don’t have to talk to it or give it much attention. If I’m outside, I can listen to the birds, the wind in the trees, the rain ...... nature is a healer.

Yes the hearing is loads better, if the whistle is loud ,when people are talking on the telly sometimes the S,s sound a bit hissy, but hearing is fine... the annoying thing is before microsuction I had a bit of tinnitus but it was more like a fan on all the time, it didn,t bother me... so the whistling is quite new to me.... thankyou I will look on the tinnitus website. 😊

Hello! I know it’s months ago since you posted this, but is your tinnitus getting better? I just had microsuction done a few weeks ago which caused the onset of loud T. Thanks 🙏🏻

Hi... sorry to hear this... I wish I could tell you it is better ,but it’s not... it’s about 9 months now since I had it done... think I have learned to live with it , unless I really listen to it it’s not bothering me too much, so hopefully you will be the same ...I can,t stand the noise of cutlery and crockery being put on glass work surfaces , seems to go right through my ears ... hope you have better luck than me .. take care ... 😊😊

Thank you so much for your reply!! Has it changed in loudness though? I read some success stories on tinnitus talk forum and some people, whose initial onset was caused by acoustic trauma, had their tinnitus went away! There is still hope ❤️ Take care!!😊

Your welcome.... sometimes the whistle is louder , and sometimes it’s more of a hissing , I think it’s only my left ear, he did work on that one for about 15 mins, so it was far too long, but it was so bad with the wax I was completely deaf.... hearing is o.k now ...would never have it done again..🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
