Hi everyone,

My Tinnitus noises reduced a lot since three weeks.

I have started using Super Ubiquinol 100 mg.

It is not completely gone, but the Ubiquinol gives me a HUGE relief.

I can cope with it now.

I have read that it's important to use ubiquiNOL and not ubiquiNON.

I wish everyone around here a lot of strength and faith.

Don't give up!

Sorry, but I can't help being a bit suspicious if your first post on this forum is to promote some supplement or other.

Were you prescribed Super Ubiquinol 100mg by your GP or another medical professional? You say that this medication gives you huge relief with your tinnitus but in what way? I get relief from my tinnitus by distractions and use of sounds apps which are free. Unless you tell us more about this medication with proof of successes then I won’t be making any further enquiries about it never mind purchase it. You need to back up your story or back off!

Joe,

Curiosity got the better of me. Its another name for Coenzyme Q10. Apparently young and healthy bodies produce enough naturally, but it can deplete as we age. It has anti oxidant effects especially on the heart. Found a 2007 study online which stated it MAY have helped some folk reduce their tinnitus level, it also stated these folk had a low Q10 level in their bodies anyway. Like Magnesium and Vit B12, if your levels are low then supplements may promote feeling better. Its sold in most health food outlets with the provision to consult a Dr before taking. Dont think its for me but just thought Id post what it was.

I don’t think that this Ubiquinol is an instant success for tinnitus sufferers otherwise we would all have heard of it through the BTA or our own sources like NHS, ENT, audiologists, etc. Let’s see if Pien replies to my questions as the post is more than a bit vague to say the least!

I’m sorry that this post of my personal positive experience with a food supplement did upset you so much.

I’m am not a scientist and the fact that taking this supplement helped me, gives no guerantees for the dame outcome for anybody.

But it really helped me and I was desparate.

It’s not expensive and easy to try.

I just wanted to share that. If it helps 1 out of 100 people who are suffering, it is worth the effort of posting.

I am not claiming it is the magical cure. I am only sharing what helped me personally.

All the best,

Pien

I’m not upset at your post but I was concerned about lack of content to back up your theory in Ubiquinol in helping to reduce tinnitus noises. You obviously had a source of information on this medication and it would have been useful if you had stated more to users here in your original post. Good luck!

Pien,

May I ask please - Were you aware if you had a deficiency before taking it and did it upset your digestive system in any way.

Thanks,

Shell

Got to say, I'd be willing to give it a try as well. I'm just getting to the bottom of my tub of 'Extra High Strength Gingko Biloba', which did precisely nothing for me, so I'm happy to jump ship to another ineffective false hope!

Pien, could you let us all know what led you to try this supplement in the first place?

Dear Shellipops,

No I had no deficiency and no upset from my digestive system.

ROFL! Just found this on my first search on this supplement;

Coenzyme Q10 is said to help treat or prevent the following health conditions:

allergies,

Alzheimer's,

asthma,

diabetes,

heart disease,

high blood pressure,

migraines,

Parkinson's.

In addition, coenzyme Q10 is said to enhance fertility, stimulate the immune system, improve athletic performance, sharpen memory, and protect against some forms of cancer.

They should put this stuff in the water. It makes your widge bigger as well.

I’ve emailed a query to Life Extension Europe, who are the main suppliers of Super Ubiquinol, asking if is known to reduce or calm tinnitus sounds. I’m now waiting on a reply from their Executive Scientific Officer! Online there is no info on it aiding tinnitus sufferers in any shape or form so I’m not holding my breath washing on a positive response here.

“waiting” not washing :)

I got a reply from Life Extension Europe and they say that there is only very weak evidence from one small study that compound Q10 might be useful in some cases. That’s enough for me to say no thank you to Super Ubiquinol in any shape or form!

I had to google what a widge was (scottish and of a certain age). I wont post my findings 😶

Hi Ruud,

Funnily enough, Ive just looked at this again but as an energy booster. Amazon reviews are awash with new leases of life etc....was that your experience?

Thanks for the trial and update btw.

Absolutely no discernible difference / effect whatsoever. I think I might give zinc/magnesium a try next - nothing ventured......

Cheers,

I tried Magnesium for a month. It was the chelate kind , apparently its the easiest form tolerated by the stomach. I personally didnt get any benefit T wise and passed copious amounts of distinctive wind ☢🤭 (sorry). I havent tried zinc
