Hello and welcome to the British Tinnitus Association forum. Do feel free to ask any questions, I hope that you find this a helpful and supportive place to help you manage your tinnitus.

Could you explain what COD is - I haven't heard of that abbreviation before?

We have some resources that you might like to check out in addition to our home here:

It's a bad habit of compulsive of doing things. My problem is negative thoughts I keep on popping in and out my head. I'm seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist. The medications they've been giving me even make me feel real bad.

Thanks for explaining - I wondered if the D stood for some kind of deafness or hearing loss I hadn't heard about before.

Is there anything that tinnitus sufferers can do to do about the nervousness from tinnitus.

Hi Freddy,I suggest you ask your doctor to prescribe a low dose Diazepam, only for short term use ,but very effective, regards Jeff
