hello about a year and a half ago i was walking in the woods and suddenly got an awfull sensation in my jaw,not painful but itchy and tense masseter muscles like i was wearing a face mask,to this day it hasnt gone away,at the same time tinnitus started,a very high pitch constant ringing,my face or rather my jaw never feels relaxed,i am constantly aware of it and it clicks and cracks and am always moving my jaw trying to get some relief,i am becoming anti social and depressed,i am hiding it very well,but want to die actually......am i alone with this thing?

Hi Darren,

You could have a condition called: TMJ-TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, which affects the jaw. This can cause tinnitus and needs to be investigated. See your GP or a dentist to get your condition diagnosed. There is information on this at the NHS choices website.
