Hi I have had tinnitus for 13 years and also have hearing loss. I had come to terms with my tinnitus but lost total hearing in one ear due to a virus and since then my tinnitus has became noticeable.

You have done well coping for so many years with tinnitus.

Sorry to hear you lost your hearing in one ear and your tinnitus more noticeable for you now.

Hope audiology or a hearing therapist can help you as there are lots of special ear pieces to help that can move sound from one side to the other ear...

Keep posting and make some friends along the way and im sure you will be great at supporting new comers to tinnitus..lots of love glynis

Thank you for your welcome. Unfortunately there isn't anything else that can be done. I wear hearing aids although my right ear is classed as dead. I have just learnt to adjust and live with my tinnitus.
