ive had T for 4 years now i play drums with ear protection, though according to advice from 1 person i should stop immediately which ive all but done as my t seems to have got worse over the years but i have been taking prochlorperazine maleate tabs, the brand name is STEMETIL and ive found SOMETIMES after taking some the night before my T is easier to get down to a better level the next morning. has anyone used this drug as it can be prescribed for labyrinthitis whic can cause T as well, affecting the inner ear,ive had probs with inner ear over the years and i wondered if there was a connection OR is it just my brain thinking it will help so it does. as in a placebo trial , if anyone has experienced this let me know. ive mentioned to docs and audiologists but got nowhere. thanks, crawford

I think if it's helping, keep doing it. It's not going to do any harm (otherwise the medical professionals you've seen would have said so).

The placebo effect is a powerful thing - there's evidence from a Parkinson's disease study that even when participants knew they were taking a placebo, as long as they kept taking the tablets, they felt better!

Hi Crawford, just to say that it's good to read that you're having quieter times. Love Angela xx
