If taking Adrenal support, is it best to take away from Armour?

Dr. says takes 2 weeks before feel improvement after starting Armour.

Is that about right?

Thanks

I am not quite sure what you mean.

When I began Adrenal support, I had to stop levo for 10 days before beginning levo again. Hopefully you should feel better as our adrenals have been under strain before being diagnosed.

Know just how you feel. I've clocked up nearly 2 years and would love an improvement.

Did you have your adrenals tested?

Hi Sporty, Do you have insomnia too? I come alive 11pm to 3am. I'm getting my adrenals tested after Easter, I'm sure I have a problem. I'm taking 175mcg Levo and 2 grains of armour, still waiting....X

I take my adrenal in the a.m. and take my Armour at night. I'm not sure either about mixing the two and have not read anything pertaining to it.

Hi Q,

I've been taking Armour for 15 years but never thought about my adrenals. I thought the adrenal should be taken in the morning and like you, wasn't sure if they mix.

Honestly, though, over the 15 years, I've taken my Armour.... in split doses at times, all at once in the morning, all at once in the evening and really don't see any difference. After you get to a desired level, as long as somewhere in the 24 hour period you take your daily amount, it shouldn't make a whole lot of difference since the half-lives are 12-24 hours for T3 (a tiny portion of Armour) and six days for T4 (a larger portion of Armour).
