Thankfully, you had a forward looking Endo. Relax and take things easy, it may be not a quick fix but works really well for many. I found it great.

So looking forward to starting t3 have fought with numerous GPs for 9 years ... incidently my free t4 level had increased from 24.5 to 27 in 3 months ..... please keep at your doctor and don't give up hope xxx

i have been given t3 for my gp, have been taking it now for 6 months. i take 30mcg split throughout day. i also take 75mcg of thyroxine. i never feel any better, in fact i feel worse. i went to see dr p and he suggested i stopped thyroxine which i did and felt better but then had extreme exhaustion so started again. is there anyone who can advise.

I think there are more and more endos out there willing to prescribe T3. I was thrilled when mine did over a year ago now, and I haven't looked back! Good luck!
