Is Nutri Thyroid the same as Armour or T3 only weaker.
A long time ago i tried it when i was on 100mcg levothyroxine as advised by Dr P and it didnt help. Does that mean that Armour or T3 wouldnt help?

No it's not the same.
I't supposed to provide nutrients to help your thyroid do it's work.
T4, T3 and armour provide hormones which replace what the thyroid is supposed to make. They are for when the thyroid is incapable of making the right amount.

Hi Nel,
Thanks for that, when i had the blood test done at the time i know it made the FT3 go up and really suppressed the TSH but i didnt feel at all better on it.

Nutri desiccated thyroid products are not supposed to contain the actual thyroid hormones (e.g. T3 and T4) that are required to replace those that your own thyroid is unable to produce. This is why nutri thyroid products are sold as 'over the counter' or 'food supplements', rather than prescription only medications.
So the fact that nutri thyroid did not help you certainly does not mean that prescription desiccated thyroid or T3 would not help you.
