I was waiting for my results last time I was on this and as I already knew I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid for the third time and last going to see a specialist oil have been put on 20mg carbimazole and on proprone. I have been on this for 5 days. Yesterday I noticed I now have two goitres appear been doctors sending me for an ultra sound is this normal ps I am 40 years old

I am 46 and been on carbimizole for over 2 years, i did not have this symptom on them but perhaps it was going to happen anyway. As far as i know it is not one of the side effects of carbimizole. Have you been on carbimizole before?x

Yes three times not had goitres before x
