Are Armour 1/2 Grain Tablets easy to split? Or are they Tiny?

Believe obtainable from Forest/USA. Is prescription required and are there any hold ups on supply.

Believe that Forest do not supply directly to anyone - only into distribution channels (i.e. USA pharmaceutical distributors).

You need a prescription from a doctor.Half grains are tiny-it's bad enough cutting ones, because they crumble.I get my armour from Pharmarama with no delays. Harder thing is getting the prescription as many GPs are unwilling to prescribe and we have to go to private doctors. Thyroid UK has a list.

I have managed to cut the half grains in half, but it isn't easy. In the end I decided it was easier to get a bottle of 1/4 grain tablets, although this is not the most economic. When I got them on private prescription I too used Pharmarama and found them to be cheapest. Luckily I now get them on NHS prescription xx

Hi Armour, very difficult to split and you always loose a bit. Forest no longer sell direct to the public.I believe people around, huge differences. I find Springfield by post by far the cheapest.0208 255 8096, dedicated line Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri, 10 - 12 am.

I'm a bit unscientific, I just bite my 1/2 grain tablets roughly in half. The remaining half sometimes ends up in bits but generally it works!
