Hi,Have you had the tSH, T4 and Free T3 tested? With re tests since starting thyroxine treatment T3 treatment usually is connected to weight and it normally lowers the TSH usually You do need to have the Free T3 result first.. I have to have my FT3 just below the top of the range to be OK.Make sure you have a print out of these results with ranges as they all vary ,like most blood tests.

Best wishes.

Hi well it all depends on ranges, they vary Lab to Lab even NHS, so results really pretty useless on their own. As a rough guide on treatment , T4 needs to be in top third ( possible yours is low in range, looks like it) and Ft3 need to be near the top of range. "Normal" does not mean too much on it`s own. Ask for a print out + ranges always. Then consider them together with how you feel. it does take a long time ,often with frequent rises in meds to have the thyroid stable. Do you know not to take thyroid meds ( or beat Blockers) before any thyroid blood tests, that morning.?
