I am an absolute nightmare for remembering my tablets, even with alarms, pill apps etc etc!!! I used to take it in the morning and would remember most mornings but I took it at the same time as my contraceptive pill. I was told this wasn't a good idea so changed my levothyroxine to the night time. I think I took it about 3 times in 3 weeks!!!! I have now changed the time to 3.30 as I know I won't eat within 2 hours of that. Is 3.30pm an ok time??
Thanks
Debbie

No reason not to take them at time of day, but will you and your pills always be in the same place at 3.30pm? Will you always remember to take your levo pills with you if you're going to be out of the house at that time of day?
At least first thing in the morning or last thing at night means you can make sure they're always on the bedside table, so that it's either the last thing you do as you climb into bed, or the first thing you do when you open your eyes in the morning. Some people actually set an early alarm for the sole purpose of taking their thyroid medication, and then having taken it, go back to sleep for an hour or whatever before getting up.
