Fairyeyes, I don't think there's much risk of deterioration if you decant 7 doses into a pill box. Blister packs protect against light and moisture deterioration so I wouldn't decant 28 doses.

Thank you,i did wonder if it would be a good id,ea or not, great idea to only do 7 at once,Thank you so much for your quick and helpful reply.

I decant mine into a weekly pill box by cutting the blister pack into single doses but don't take out of actually blister pack until required.

I do the same process as Flowers, then there's no chance of dropping the pill box and the tablets spilling out or getting spoiled. The tablets are quite fragile that's why we've to take it with a full glass of water as there's a chance of it swelling in the gullet if we don't take sufficient water.

I use a weekly pill box then I don't have to wonder if I've taken my dose for the day. Its good too if you take more than one medication.

I always put my mess in pill boxes 2weeks ahead, done for years and all is fine.

I don't think there is any problem taking the pills out for a short period like a week.

Be aware, though, that oxygen, humidity and light all affect thyroid hormone. So don't leave on a sunny bathroom window cill!
