Should I stay or should I go. ..

Found out could book an appointment with GP I saw a bit over year ago who actually took copies of my private thyroid tests because she wanted to know how it is done abroad and learn how it is dealt with.

I never got a second chance to meet her as she was so fully booked all the time as everyone considered her the best and then she disappeared. Now I found her from another private practice near me and could get appointment first thing on Monday morning.

She is not endo tho but could probably retest me and see if my low TSH is down to pituitary. I could get that done fast. If I call local hospital waiting time is 3 weeks and who know for how long it takes to get referral to endo if they would even care to do that.

In worst case I just lose 70 euros but in good case I get help. My third option is to see that crappy endo prescribing fibers.

Fourth option is wait for six months to see endo very far away. Sigh.

Go see the GP.

Many of the helpful GPs I've seen over the years have left the NHS.

Some go abroad, some stop working as doctors and some go into private healthcare. I only know because I actually have conversations with them and they explain their interests.

Justiina,

See the GP. If she's good and you need a referral she'll know the right person to send you to.

Yeah she seem to be one of those who get something. I was shocked when she asked my permission to get a copy of my papers to study more! :D
