Does anyone know of a practioner who can treat Graves Disease and Autoimmune diseases generally by natural methods. I am not doing well on Carbimazole and am not prepared to take radioiodine, my doctor won't consider surgery so I'm at a loss how to proceed. I live in West Sussex.

Natural treatment for Graves Disease
Hi jess99. I too found getting my levels down on carbimazole v stressful. Have had on going probs with thyroid and adrenals, now much more manageable and under control after treatment from Brian McDonogh in Horsham. eagleclinic.com - A wealth of info and experience in treating. Uses nutritional and complementary medicine. Of course its always a question of funds, in my experience the best money I have ever spent! Take control and get yourself better!! Regards Paula
Hi Jes sorry, this is rather late as I have only just started posting on this forum - if you're still looking for alternative help Dr Adeniyi-Jones who works out of the Diagnostic Clinic in London is very good, though it's not cheap of course. You can google the clinic if you would like more information. I had the highest T3 and 4 measurable in mid October 2010 but with Dr Adeniyi-Jones' help my levels are now 14.4 and 7.7. Good luck - Jane
Thanks Jane. I am about to have a whole load more tests for other autoimmune diseases such as Celiac disease and Addisons, I already have two! So I'll see what comes back then head to a clinic for help. glad you are improving-Jackie
