hi im on levo 100mg per day and have just had a test done for saliva and it has come back as low cortisol and high dhea, do i now order myself some HC as my gp wont take results. thanks

Hi Kimbo,

How bad were the cortisol results? Were they low all the time, or at one point in the day?

Very low? a bit low? If they're really bad then insist on a test for addisons, not very bad then consider nutrients,

How about posting the results along with the reference ranges - then at least it will be possible to comment.

All this is unknown to me , but what does interest me is saliva, my saliva or something is sticky and goes solid coating my teeth, have you heard of this before, as I have colloid goitres, at the moment I have a sample which I am taking to my dentist for testing even if I have to pay as its transparent and cant be seen on my teeth,

I would appreciate any experiences.
