I had some blood work done this week, due to still feeling not myself. its been 19 months since i had my thyroid removed due to cancer. I am on 150 thyroxin but still struggling. I managed to get my cortisol levels checked they were 145 , and cholesteraol 7.4. Does any one no if my cortisol level is correct.

many thanks peeps

Debs,

Not a clue what 145 means. High cholesterol is indicative of either low D3 or hypothyroidism.

Best test for cortisol is a saliva test at 4 points in the day. Test is private, from Genova Diagnostics. £70 unless there is a discount for members of this forum?
