spots ?

hi just onto my 100mcg dose of levo,and have little red ,itchy spots coming up on my arms and chest and swolen ,sore lips .has anyone else had similar reactions. k

i get the itchy spots when on a dose lower than 250mcg, my dr reduced my dose in june to 200mcg and suddenly i was covered in them again - not to mention falling asleep all over the place! now back up to 250 and they are beginning to fade

Hi, Don't know if this is due to your thyroid problems or an allergic reaction, as can be found with ANY drug. Keep a close eye on this and contact your gp or pharmacy asap. I have had severe allergic reactions to drugs before, once nearly fatal, and it did start with small itchy red spots. If you find you have sudden swelling to your tongue or throat, or the red patches become much larger, do not hesitate to ring in as an emergency. Not trying to frighten you, but it can happen quite quickly, it can even be a reaction to an additional ingredient found in the 100mg or a different brand. How long since you started to take them, and were you on levo before or have they started you on 100mg?

hi .started on 50 then 75 mcg at first now 100 for last week,might take it down a bit.throught quite tight like something in there,thanks 4 the advice. k.
