Is it possible to alter your own posts?

I see that it's possible to add further comments to your own posts but I can't see any way of editing typos, spelling mistakes etc.

Hi Barbara,

Sorry, but It's not possible to change what you've written. Although not always an issue (e.g. in spelling mistakes), in posts where people completely re-edit the original questions it would invalidate the ratings and subsequent answers for the post. Most of the spelling mistakes should be picked up by your browser, if the feature is switched on, however grammar mistakes will remain there. The exception to this is Group Blog, where you can edit your own post, reason being is that it's public and information there should be as accurate as possible.

Hope this makes sense.

Best Wishes,

Alex

Thanks Alex, I'll just have to be more careful until I can work out how to set the spellcheck on my browser!
