Pre-op

I had my pre-op a week before my operation which was scheduled for 13th April. I had some blood taken and ecg to check my heart, height, weight, blood pressure and then I saw a nurse who explained that on the morning of my op I would have to arrive at hospital at 7am, see the consultant and anaesthetist and then I would be admitted and wait for my surgery. She asked me if I had any questions and I just told her I was petrified, she said I would be fine and that it is more of as common operation than people actually realise.
