If the t4 range is (7-16) what's a recommended result for it. Mine sits at 14 and I'm sure that's what's causing my gut issues.

T4 range

Loose bowel motions. Been checked out all ok . I know hyperthyroidism can cause this that's why I'm thinking am I overmedicated. Tsh and t3 all ok
I'm on 75mg eltroxin which is the only one I can take as the others have acacia in them .The only other thing is I'm on bp meds and they can cause issues . Thanks for your answer.😃
Yes I've done all that tried many different ones .
Unfortunately they all have the same side effects. Gut issues etc

you need to test TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
What vitamin supplements are you taking
Lower vitamin levels more common as we get older
You need to maintain GOOD vitamin levels for good conversion of Ft4 (levothyroxine) to Ft3 (active hormone)
If conversion is poor you can end up with high Ft4 but low Ft3
ALWAYS test early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
Is it still same dose as you have always taken
You might need to try a SMALL dose reduction
Eg 75mcg 6 days a week and 50mcg one day a week
But
A) test first
B) only change one thing at a time
c) improve low vitamin levels first
Also looking at previous posts you possibly have developed intolerance to dairy
Worth trying dairy free diet
Can you get lactose free Levo in NZ
