It actually came from here directly to my email address, not in the chat at all

jand123, Email alerts for PMs go out several minutes after the PM has been sent (typically 5-10 mins after). So, if you then visit your HU messages and there isn't a corresponding message, it most likely means that HU have already caught the spammer and deleted all PMs that spammer sent. So, nothing to worry about But, if you still feel concerned, you can always forward the email to [e-mail]
